Welcome!

At WEBC we believe in a simple truth - God loves you. No matter who you are or what’s your story. There is a place for you in church.

What is ‘church’?

The church is a group of people who follow Christ together.

You can also think about it as an extended family.

We are young and old, strong and weak, from all walks of life and backgrounds. We even speak different languages - although our worship service is in English :)

We believe that Jesus is the Saviour of the world and that He wants people to hear the Good News of God’s love and discover the new life that He can give.

What happens on Sunday?

Our Sunday worship starts at 10.30 a.m. It includes prayer, singing, reading of the Bible, and teaching.

Services last for about an hour. It may last few minutes longer if there is some special occasion (e.g., service with Baptism) or communion, a symbolic re-enactment of Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples.

Running late? That happens! You are most welcome to come, even if you’re a late.

Everyone is welcome. None of us is perfect, yet we know that God loves all people. So, come no matter what issues you might be dealing with.

You don’t have to dress up for church, although some people do. We don’t have a dress code.

We are happy to share our worship service with our younger members. We know that kids make noises, they cry, play, or may want to go for a little run around auditorium - that is absolutely fine!!! At some point during the service, they are offered an opportunity to attend a special programme - Sunday school - designed for young people and children.

After the service, there is time for fellowship with tea, coffee, and snacks. We’d love you to join us for that!

Church outside of Sunday worship

The church is more than Sunday worship.

You can think of Sundays as a time of celebration. However, the church continues to live and work through every day of the week.

Our members are involved in various activities that are focused on mission, community work, Bible studies, and much, much more. Here you can learn more about our weekly programme.
